A Historic Landmark

Founded in the early 1850s, the beautiful colonial home was one of the very first homes built in what is now known as Williamson County by David Mcfadin and his wife Jerusha Dyches. The house sits on the banks of the San Gabriel River with its 27-inch walls constructed of a conglomerate of rocks taken from the nearby river. The home served in the past as a mighty fortress from the dangers of raiding Indians. There have been many Native American relics found on the property. The terrain dates back to the Mesopelagic zone. This property also became a refreshing respite for soldiers near the natural springs on their way to fight in the Civil War. Today, Bingham Ranch Events stands as a cherished historical landmark, thoughtfully renovated to serve as a unique and beautiful wedding venue. Located just 40 minutes from Austin, rich in history. Our venue offers a unique and unforgettable backdrop for your special day and/or any memorable occasion.

Who We Are

We are Lee and Jetina Bingham, proud owners of Bingham Ranch Events, a beautiful property formerly owned by David McFadin. As only the third family to own this historic estate since it was patented to Mr. McFadin in 1850, we are honored to continue its legacy. The white house, one of the oldest homes in Williamson County, has a long history of hosting many joyous gatherings. With Lee’s expertise as a general contractor, and Jetina's eye for decor, together they have carefully restored this elegant home to create a stunning venue for celebrations of all kinds. The property has been a full development, all the while, preserving the natural beauty that makes this property so special.
