Who We Are
We’re Lee and Jetina Bingham, proud owners and caretakers of Bingham Ranch Events — a historic Texas estate once owned by pioneer David McFadin. As only the third family to hold stewardship of this remarkable property since it was patented prior to 1850, we feel deeply honored to preserve and share its legacy.
The iconic white house, one of the oldest homes in Williamson County, has been the setting for countless moments of joy throughout its storied history. With Lee’s craftsmanship as a general contractor and Jetina’s creative eye for design and detail, we’ve thoughtfully restored and reimagined this timeless space into a breathtaking venue for weddings, gatherings, and celebrations of every kind. Every improvement has been made with care — honoring the past while embracing the natural beauty that makes Bingham Ranch Events truly unforgettable.
A Historic Landmark
Built in the early 1850s by David McFadin and his wife, Jerusha Dyches, this beautiful colonial home was among the first residences in what is now Williamson County. Perched along the scenic banks of the San Gabriel River, its 27-inch-thick walls were crafted from river rock gathered nearby — a testament to timeless craftsmanship and resilience. In its early days, the home served as a stronghold against Native American raids, and numerous relics have since been discovered on the property. The surrounding terrain, with origins dating back to the Mesopelagic era, carries a deep sense of history, once offering a peaceful respite for soldiers who rested by the natural springs before continuing their journey during the Civil War.
Today, Bingham Ranch Events stands as a lovingly restored historical landmark, blending its storied past with modern elegance. Just 30 minutes east of Austin, our venue offers a one-of-a-kind backdrop for weddings, celebrations, and special gatherings — where Texas history and natural beauty come together to create unforgettable moments.
Our Story
At Bingham Ranch Events, our story is rooted in a love for bringing people together. More than 20 years ago, we hosted our very first wedding in our own backyard — an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for celebrating life’s most meaningful moments. From that day forward, we knew we wanted to create a place where joy, love, and connection could flourish.
Lee, an ordained minister who has officiated countless weddings, and Jetina, with her creative touch for design and hospitality, have spent years hosting a variety of gatherings. That dream found its home when we discovered and transformed 78 acres of stunning Texas land into what is now Bingham Ranch Events. Today, we’re honored to offer a venue where families and friends can come together to celebrate every season of life — from weddings and birthdays to reunions, corporate events, festivals, and beyond. We can’t wait to help you create unforgettable memories of your own here at the ranch.
